Fabulous Audit Risk; Low confidence in financial mgt

Well, My first post since i last blogged like ages ago. Blogging about uninteresting mundune stuffs are just not my cup of tea now, shall attempt at some short crisp humor posting to spice up my life and add a pinch of my personal flavour on this virtual blogosphere as well.

Anyway, onto wats up with control risk low anyway??? Well, when i saw that in my audit exam script, i thought of *er* *hem* someone that appears to be gaining popularity in sg. Is she controllable anyway? i dun know but apparently low risk is a good sign in audit terms as less material mistatements could be found suspiciously anywhere in financial statements. However, the above mentioned person does not have an extra alphabet 'K' in her name, maybe a change in spelling in her name could bring her better luck? Haha, what ever happens to her is not as important as me passing my audit paper with flying colours though(hopefully as i have seen too much dull colours appearing among my results recently...). =P

Followed by a strong knocking out bout with Audit Risk, unfortunately it is a furtile effort to do well in financial mgt paper. What is wrong with me? Its just that my financial concepts are just not that solid to conquer this paper. I never imagined how financial cashflows are to appear in exam script, i do now. Neither do i think lease or buy option could appear to be a tricky question as well. What about that right issue stuff? Seriously, at the back of my mind, i have a big fat hope harbouring thoughts that some of the numbers maybe misprinted. Not that it never happens, but it did happen once before. Before it happens again, my big fat hope must turn into a miracle though. Haha, maybe in my dreams...

2 more papers before i decide what to do next... 2 more impossible mountains ahead, with will power though, i might turn it into a molehill. Seriously, i wonder y would people want to make a mountain out of a molehill? Maybe they find life not challenging enough, i suppose... lol =X

Low risk does not mean no risk, be it inherent, control or detection... How true is that???
